Job Overview: The Sales Head at Vesta Ice Cream, a division of KSE Limited, is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share within the ice cream segment. This role plays a critical part in overseeing the sales team, closely monitoring sales and collections, identifying, and onboarding new dealers, converting other ice cream dealers to our business, building robust customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Vesta Ice Cream’s business goals and objectives.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations to maintain a high-performing sales force.
Revenue Generation: Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and maximizing sales from existing accounts.
Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats. Make data-driven decisions to maintain competitiveness.
Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors. Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and targets. Monitor progress and take corrective actions when necessary. Provide regular MIS reports to the Executive Director regarding day-to-day activities, targets, and growth achievements.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about Vesta Ice Cream’s product offerings, features, and benefits. Ensure the sales team is well-equipped to communicate these effectively to customers.
Sales Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and analyses to provide insights to senior management and drive improvements in the sales process.
Distribution Management: Oversee distribution channels, including logistics and inventory management, to ensure efficient product availability.
Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Any Degree or Post-graduation in Marketing Management, Sales, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the ice cream or FMCG industry (minimum of 10 years in the same field).
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales data analysis.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
