Puthuppally Bye Election To The Kerala Legislative Assembly 2023

The Puthuppally Bye Election to the Kerala Legislative Assembly 2023 will be held on September 5, 2023. The election was necessitated due to the death of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who represented the constituency for 53 years.

The Puthuppally constituency is located in Kottayam district. It is a stronghold of the Congress party. Oommen Chandy had won the seat in all the elections he contested since 1970.
