Nona (The Truth Unravelled), a Malayalam film directed by the renowned playwright and award-winning filmmaker Rajesh Irulam, features Indrans in the central role. Produced by expatriate Jacob Uthup under the banner of Mystical Rose Productions, the movie is scripted by Hemanthkumar, a five-time Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award winner known for his work on “Apothecary” and “Kotthu.” The film boasts a stellar cast, including Godwin, Biju Jayanandan, Satheesh K Kunnath, Pramod Veliyanad, Sreejith Ravi, Jayan Thirumana, Sisira Sebastian, Sudha Babu, Prema Wandoor, and other prominent figures in the Malayalam film industry and drama field.

Cinematography for “Nona” is skillfully handled by Paul Bathery, with M Ramesh Kumar serving as the chief associate director.

The first look poster for “Nona,” directed by Rajesh Irulam and starring Indrans, was unveiled on November 12, 2023. Additionally, the teaser poster featuring Indrans in the lead role was released through the Facebook pages of renowned film stars on November 9, 2023.

This film explores the evolving relationship between two individuals, portraying a linear progression of connections. Set against the backdrop of Wayanad, the movie presents a compelling theme.

Director Rajesh Irulam, recognized for his achievements in the realm of drama, collaborates with the prolific writer Hemanth Kumar, known for his contributions to “Appothikkiri” and “Kothth.” The film brings together two talents from the world of Theatre Drama.

The shooting of “Nona” commenced on January 14, 2022, in Sultan Bathery, Wayanad, with Wayanad Sub Registrar K Rajesh officiating the switch-on. The inaugural clap was given by Sachin Jacob, the managing partner of Mystical Rose Productions, while Kalpetta Special Branch SI Vinod Chandran graced the occasion as the chief guest. The film is set to be shot at various locations in Wayanad.

The soulful songs of “Nona” were composed by Reji Gopinath, featuring lyrics by Sibi Ambalappuram.
