The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has announced a budget trip for Nehru Trophy boat race enthusiasts. The special bus services will be operated from Ernakulam, Kottayam, and Thrissur. The buses will depart from these cities on the morning of August 12, 2023, and will return in the evening after the boat race.
The cost of the trip is Rs. 500 per person, which includes bus fare, breakfast, lunch, and entry ticket to the boat race venue. The buses will have comfortable seating and will be equipped with toilet facilities.
Bookings for the trip can be made online or at the KSRTC bus terminals. The last date for booking is August 10, 2023.

- Ernakulam to Alappuzha: KSRTC will operate four buses from Ernakulam Central Bus Terminus to Alappuzha on August 12, 2023. The buses will depart at 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, and 9:00 AM.
- Kottayam to Alappuzha: KSRTC will operate two buses from Kottayam KSRTC Bus Station to Alappuzha on August 12, 2023. The buses will depart at 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
- Thrissur to Alappuzha: KSRTC will operate one bus from Thrissur KSRTC Bus Station to Alappuzha on August 12, 2023. The bus will depart at 6:00 AM.
