Kerala’s first car boot sale will be held in Kochi in November, from November 3 to 5, 2023, at the exhibition ground of Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium. The event is being organized by the city-based start-up Diagun Ventures in collaboration with Kochi Corporation and the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA).
The car boot sale is a popular event across the globe, where sellers bring their products in cars to sell. The sale will be open to individuals and institutions, and sellers will not be charged any fee to participate.
The car boot market will be active from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is expected to attract over 1 lakh customers. The event is aimed at facilitating an opportunity to small and medium industries as well as street vendors to legally market their products.
