The Honda Elevate is a subcompact SUV that is expected to be launched in India in September 2023. It is said to share its platform and powertrains with the fifth-gen City. It will get a 1.5-liter DOHC naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual or a CVT at launch. The Honda Elevate is likely to get a strong-hybrid powertrain later on and it will not be offered with a diesel powertrain.
The Elevate measures between 4.2m and 4.3m in length and has a ground clearance of 220mm. It is expected to be priced between Rs 12-17 lakh (ex-showroom).
The interior of the Elevate is expected to get a large 10.2-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and automatic climate control. It is also expected to get a host of safety features, including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, and ESP.
The Elevate is expected to rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki S-Cross in the Indian market.
