FACULTY RECRUITMENT

I. Applications in Online Mode are invited from qualified candidates for appointment as Professor, Associate Professor in various Self financing Institutes of School of Medical Education (SME) under the management of CPAS on contract basis as detailed below :-

II ELIGIBILITY :-

Age: As on 01.01.2022

a) Associate Professor: Not more than 50Yrs
b) Professor : Not more than 55 Yrs
Age limit for retired hands not more than 69 Years

II. Qualification and Experience: As per the Special Rules of CPAS, norms of respective affiliating University and Regulatory Bodies.

1. MLT
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR :
a) MBBS and MD in Pathology/Microbiology/Bio Chemistry or B.Sc (MLT) and M.Sc (MLT)
b) 6 Years of Post PG teaching experience in MLT in any institute or Medical College approved by KUHS and Govt.of Kerala.

2 PHYSIOTHERAPY
PROFESSOR: Master of Physiotherapy with 8 years of Post PG teaching experience.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Master of Physiotherapy with 5 years of Post PG teaching experience.

3 MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY :
PROFESSOR : M.Sc Medical Microbiology with total of 9 Years of post PG teaching experience with 2 years as Associate Professor.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR : M.Sc Medical Microbiology with 6 Yrs. Post PG teaching experience.

4 MEDICAL BIOCHEMISTRY :
PROFESSOR: M.Sc Medical Biochemistry with total 9 Years of post PG teaching experience with 2 years as Associate Professor.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: M.Sc Medical Biochemistry with total of 6 Years of post PG teaching experience.

5. MHA :
PROFESSOR : Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration (Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration) with 5 years teaching experience as Associate Professor or 10 years of Teaching Experience in Hospital Administration in a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying post graduate degree in Hospital Administration or recognized qualification equivalent there to.
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR : Postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration (Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration) with 6 years teaching experience in Hospital Administration in a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying post graduate degree in Hospital Administration or recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

IV GENERAL CONDITIONS:

a) The appointments against the vacancies will be made in accordance with the Special rules of CPAS and reservation Principles will be applicable as per Govt. Rules.
b) The mode of appointment will be contractual in nature. The selected candidates shall execute an agreement with the Director of CPAS as per the terms and conditions provided in the special rules of CPAS.
c) Applicants eligible for reservation shall submit community certificate and Non Creamy Layer certificate issued on or after 01.01.2022. Non Creamy Layer certificates need not be furnished by SC/ST applicants.
d) Last date for on line submission of application will be 22nd January 2022
e) Applicants should upload certificates/documents in proof of claim mentioned in the on line application form. Hard coy of duly completed online application along with self attested copies of all certificates and documents shall be sent to the Administrative Officer , Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies, Gandhinagar P.O, Kottayam – 686008 on or before 24th January 2022 . Applicants working in institutions which require the NOC for the employer shall send the same along with the application.
f) Degrees obtained from the institutions outside the state of Kerala shall be accompanied by the required equivalency certificate obtained from the affiliating University concerned (MG University/KUHS).

V. REGISTRATION FEE :
Candidates shall remit an amount of Rs. 1,000/- as Registration fee. SC/ST candidates need to remit Rs. 500/-. Fee should be remitted only through online payment, the facility of which is provided in the online application form.

VI. HOW TO APPLY:

All prospective candidates are requested to submit the application online available on the Official Website of Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies www.cpas.ac.in. Hard copy of duly completed application form downloaded, with copies of all certificates/documents (self attested] in proof of age, Community, Reservation if any, qualification, experience etc; shall be forwarded to the addressee specified in Clause IV.(e) of the notification. Prospective candidates are advised to submit application sufficiently early to ensure delivery of hard copy of the application well within the prescribed time limit 24.01.2022.

Late and defective applications will be summarily rejected.
