KSINC requires a System Administrator to manage its computer systems and network and to maintain and update its web sites. The candidates should have hands on experience in trouble shooting computers, networks and website content management. Experience in web programming using PHP- MysQL is essential. The appointment will be on contract basis. Gross monthly salary is around Rs. 30,000/-

No of vacancy and nature of appointment : One – Contract appointment for a period of five years

Qualification and experience : BCA/ BSc Computer Science with three year experience in managing PCs /Laptops / Servers, network administration, web site content management and programming ( PHP- MYSQL preferred).

OR

MCA/ B. Tech Computer Science with Minimum one year experience as above

Pay and allowances : 13210-22360/- (2009 pay revision) with eligible DA as applicable from time to time.

No other benefits or allowances

Gross Pay now is approx. Rs. 30,000/- per month

Age limit : Not more than 45 years

Job profile : The overall computer system of KSINC has the following components. The selected candidate shall be responsible for monitoring, management and improvement of these systems.

1. More than 50 laptops and desk tops spread over four location in Kochi.

2. Multiple networks including a KSWAN connection.

3. Tally Accounting software ( plans to introduce remote connectivity to Tally)

4. PHP- MySQL based intranet software

5. Online ticket booking portals for its cruise vessels, Sagararani and Nefertiti.

6. Official website, ksinc.in and its content management.

7. Plans to introduce a commercial ERP package.

8. Plans to install centralised CCTV and GPS enabled monitoring of its premises and vessels.

Selection Process : Received applications will be screened and shortlisted based on Qualification, experience etc. Short listed candidates will be called for interview. A written test also may be conducted at the discretion of the company.
