Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is a part of Dayananda Sagar Institutions (DSI), which was founded in the 1960’s by visionary Educationist – the Late Sri Dayananda Sagar. Executive Assistant / Executive Head To Pro-Chancellor

Responsibilities: The Executive Assistant / Executive Head serves the University by performing a wide range of functions related to tracking, monitoring, and reporting of Attendance, conduction of Classes, completion of Activities (by various stakeholders, viz Faculty / Students / Academic Administrators) as per the firmed-up Time-Table / Calendar of events and reporting to the Pro-Chancellor. Organizes regular MIS reports on key areas, tracks key functions and activities across various campuses, presents KRAs in accreditation, internationalization, ERP, Outreach activities, assists in Social media activities, viz Website, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedln, etc.

Eligibility: A Management degree (MBA/PGDM) from a premier University (IIMs / XLRI / Other Tier-1 Institutes) with a minimum 8 to 12 years of overall experience, out of which at least 5 years should be in a Managerial / Program management type of role working in Educational, Hospital, or Hospitality sector.
The candidate must have demonstrated capability in these areas and be computer savvy.
Ideally below 40 years.

Dean-Student Affairs

Responsibilities: Monitoring the academic progress of students, and offering academic counselling to help them succeed in their classes. Overseeing disciplinary actions for student misconduct, including violations of academic integrity standards or the school’s code of conduct. Interpreting University policies and procedures to students and parents. Developing policies and procedures for the administration of student conduct and discipline, ensuring compliance with University norms and UGC guidelines.

Eligibility: Minimum 15 years of Academic experience in any stream/subject.
Doctorate holder
Experience in Academic Administration and Student management.

Director-Administration

Responsibilities: The Director Administration oversees the day-to-day Administration of the Educational Campus. He leads a team of administrative managers and staff and works collaboratively to identify, assess, and implement solutions designed to enhance the efficiency of operations. The incumbent will anticipate future needs and opportunities, and utilize Infrastructure to support growth without creating bureaucracy. This is an exciting and challenging role that ensures the organisation maintains its iconic infrastructure and values service quality. The role comes with the following responsibilities, viz developing and managing a range of Admin Operations and maintenance, Liaising, Vendor management, Physical Security, Housekeeping, Safety Audit, Purchase, Asset Management, Transport Management, Facility Management, AMC’s, Employee Transportation, management of residential Quarters, Canteen, etc.

Eligibility: A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in Facility Management, Operations and General Administration out of which at least 5 years should be in a Leadership position working with Educational, Hospital, or Hospitality sectors.
Retired Army / Short-Service Commission personnel above the level of Lt Col will be preferred.
Ability to read, write, and speak in the Local language – Kannada is mandatory.
Any Master’s Degree Holder from a Tier-1 or 2 Educational Institution with a good understanding of the Higher Education sector.
ldeally below 50 years of age.

Chief Security Officer

Responsibilities: Patrols the premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence. Must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with those not adhering to the rules. Handle the Security staff – safety and security of Student, Staff and premises, etc. Should be able to develop, implement, and maintain Security policies, processes, guidelines, and standards. Tech-savvy and experienced in Surveillance systems. Proven track record in both technical and functional competencies in Security management.

Eligibility: Minimum 15 years of experience in any premier organization.
Any degree from a recognized University
Preferably an Ex-Serviceman
Age group of 45-55 years

Resident Chief Warden – Boys’ Hostel

Responsibilities: A watchful, responsible, and reliable senior Warden in residence with exposure to International standards in maintenance, catering, and grievance-free Administration at Student Hostels. Should have experience working in any premier organization in the capacity of a Warden / Hostel in charge and must be capable of handling a team of Wardens and Students.

Eligibility: Minimum 12 to 15 years of exp.
Any degree from a recognized University
Preferably an Ex-Serviceman in the Age Group of 4O-5Oyrs.

Resident Warden – Boys’ Hostel

Responsibilities: In-residence and experienced Warden with exposure to International standards in maintenance, catering, and grievance-free Administration at Student Hostels. Must be responsible, watchful, reliable and should work under the supervision of the Chief Warden. Should have experience working in any premier organization in the capacity of a Assistant Warden / Warden

Eligibility: Minimum 5 to 10 years of exp.
Any degree from a recognized University
Preferably an Ex-Serviceman in the Age Group of 35-40 yrs.

Tutors In-Residence For First Year B.tech Students (Part-time / Evening)

Dedicated, proactive, and student-friendly Tutors for coaching, guiding, and mentoring First-year B.Tech / Engineering students in Engineering and Science related subjects. Responsibilities: The Tutors in-residence with 2 to 10 years of experience are required to coach, guide, and mentor First-year B.Tech / Engineering Students and conduct special classes for those students across streams and extensively train the students for common First-year subjects during the Evening hours (3 hours schedule) at the Student Hostels. Take ownership of the student batches for the subjects -conduct classes, doubts clearing sessions, evaluations, content review, mentoring, etc

Eligibility:
Minimum 2 to 10 years of experience.
Any Post-graduate degree in areas such as M.E. / M.Tech in CS, ECE and CE or M.Sc (Math/Phy/ Chem) from lISc, NTs , NITs, etc.
Must be willing to work during Evenings on a part-time basis.

IQAC Executives

Responsibilities: Essential that the IQAC Executives recruited have sound knowledge of computers, data management & various functions such as their usage for effective communication. Coordinate the documentation of the various programs/activities leading to quality improvement.

Eligibility: Minimum 5 to 10 years of Academic experience in any stream/subject.
Any Post-graduate degree
Experience in coordination, documentation and report keeping.

Student Welfare Officer (SWO)

Responsibilities: Student Welfare Officer can expect to be the first member of staff to be approached by students with problems of a non-academic nature. Works with the Dean-Student Affairs and Registrar to ensure the welfare of students.

Eligibility: Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Educational sector.
Any Post-graduate degree preferably Psychology with good interpersonal skills.
Experience in coordination, documentation and reporting
