Expressions of Interest are invited from eligible firms for empanelment of Architectural Consultancy Firms at Cochin International Airport Limited. EOI forms will be available from Commercial department on payment of Rs.2360/-

Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) is one of the most successful infrastructure ventures in the Civil Aviation History of India. In the Civil Aviation Infrastructure domain, CIAL is the first Greenfield Airport in India to be designed on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model and it has been a successful venture. Cochin International Airport has the 3rd largest International passenger traffic in India.

CIAL wishes to appoint a panel of five Architectural Consultancy firms (Consultants) for providing comprehensive architecture services for various upcoming projects along with associated support facilities at CIAL. This EOI document is for inviting Consultants to submit their credentials for shortlisting & empaneling them. The aim is to have a list of empaneled Architecture/ Design/ Consultancy firms who will assist CIAL in the planning and execution of various Commercial projects/ initiatives by ensuring timely and quality execution of work.

Scope of Work

The scope of work for an Architecture Consultant will be to provide comprehensive architectural and allied consultancy services, including conceptualization, planning, architectural designing, Structural design, Architectural drawings, detailed specifications, estimates, tender document preparation, rate analysis, building services, landscape, site infrastructure and interior design, site visits, submission of as-built drawings etc. CIAL may modify the above requirements at its sole discretion.

Period of Contract

The Empanelment of Architectural Consultancy Firms will be for a period of 3 years from the date of allotment letter to avail their service.

Eligibility Criteria

CIAL, aims to select an Architecture Consultancy firms with a proven track record in providing high quality professional services to the Airport., Hospitality groups, Government organizations and institutions. The Architecture Consultancy firms may opt for submitting EOI provided that meet all the following minimum eligibility criteria and they submit the necessary supporting with their EOI.

a) At least one of the Promoters / Partners /Lead Architect should have a Master’s degree in Architecture.

b) The average annual turnover of the Consultant on consultancy work for the last Five financial years should be at least Rs.5 Crores.

c) The Consultant should have rendered or is rendering Architectural Consultancy design of at least one Airport Terminal building.

d) The proposed team leader for the CIAL project representing the Consultant (herein referred to as Project Architect) and who will be responsible for handling and designing the CIAL project should have a minimum of 15 years of work experience.

e) The Architect should preferably have experience in Green Building concepts.

f) The Architect should have completed at least one building project of Rs.100 Crores during the last 5 Financial Years
